BIOHAZARD Frontman Embroiled In Porn Controversy
December 12, 2002BIOHAZARD frontman Evan Seinfeld is embroiled in controversy over his fiancée Tera Petrick's apparent decision to discontinue making porn movies for Digital Playground — the adult film production company that she signed a five-year contract with in January following the expiration of a previous two-year agreement with the same firm.
According to a posting on the porn industry gossip web site LukeFord.com, word is that "Tera will no longer be doing porn, no girl/girl, no nothing. Whether this was Tera's idea or Evan's is unclear. Tera and Evan are claiming that some 'unethical shit has gone down' … but who is being unethical is open to debate."
A subsequent message from Evan himself confirmed that "Tera will not be doing any girl-girl movies... or any movies for that matter,.. unless Digital Playground chooses to release any of their 'old' footage they have stockpiled. Some really nasty, unethical shit has gone down... (surprise, surprise) and measures are being taken to remedy them."
Seeking to silence growing rumors about the reasons behind her decision to stop making movies for Digital Playground, Tera herself affirmed in the same message that "Evan and I are in a monogamous relationship with each other... and we are engaged to be married this spring. Porn and or gossip is the last thing on our minds right know...as we are enjoying the holidays with our 'real' families. We know who our real friends and supporters are... and we sleep well at night! The truth shall set you free!"
Shortly after the above message was published on the site, LukeFord.com posted yet another item from an unnamed source that seemed to indicate Evan was not winning himself many friends in the porn industry through his heavy-handed involvement in Tera's adult film career.
"The official story I heard re: Evan from a friend over at Playboy is that the studios where they shoot such high-quality shows as 'Nightcalls 411' [hosted by Patrick] now has a new policy instituted where all 'unnecessary extras' are disallowed on set thanks to an incident that stemmed from Evan's mania during a recent taping of '411'," the source is quoted as saying. "Apparently he was very disruptive, and seeing as it's a live show, they couldn't really have that going on. And seeing as Tera is such the big star, they didn't want to say that boyfriends weren't allowed on set, because that would call attention to the fact that it was his actions that caused the policy change. So they're trying to be diplomatic about the whole thing. This is consistent with everything I have heard about Evan, guys like him are the reason that most of us don't allow boyfriends on the set."
